We had a day in Singapore. Since we've been to Singapore several times, we decided to check a place where we haven't been. Off we went to see the blooms at The National Orchid Garden, situated inside the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
National Orchid Garden. Opens daily at 8:30am to 7:00pm. To-date, entrance fee is S$5 for adult, S$1 for students and senior citizens, and free admission for children under 12.

Inside the orchid garden, the paths are peppered with, ofcourse, colorful orchids, trees and other decorative plants.
Orchids Everywhere!
Wooden Path Leading to the Cool House.
I particularly liked the Orchidarium and the Cool House. Since the National Orchid Garden is a place of beauty, let the blooms speak for themselves. Enjoy!

However, orchids are not all there is. If you look close enough, you will spot interesting plant life like the carnivorous pitcher plant.
Pitcher Plant. This one is definitely not Vegan!
There are benches strategically provided for you to capture nice photos inside the National Orchid Garden. A souvenir shop is also provided at the entrance. Once you are done with the orchid garden, you may visit the rest of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Admission is free!
Photo Spots. They're everywhere!
Picnic Spots. Singapore Botanical Gardens provides you your nature-fix with picnic spots!

What is nice about Singapore Botanic Gardens are the trails! It is relaxing to take a stroll and you will find many interesting things to see, especially by the lake. It appears to be a superb bike trail but cycling as far as I know is not allowed. :) There are also food and drink stations and restrooms at several locations.
Here are some photos I took during our stroll. :)
Swan Lake. Picture Perfect!

Turtles. The lake is filled with turtles bobbing their heads. :)
Some interesting flowers along the way!
...And some nice quotes. :)
